Amsterdam Dance Event aka ADE takes place every year, usually in mid to late October. The 2018 edition that i've raved took place on 17-21 October 2018.
The nearest airport is Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. From there you can take either the Train or Taxi (Uber or ViaVan) to take you to your accommodation. For the whole week of ADE, you will mostly using the Tram, as the venues/conferences/events are within the City Centre where you will have access to them by Tram.
ADE takes place at various locations and venues within the capital city of Netherlands, Amsterdam. Melkweg, Chin Chin Club, RAI Amsterdam, were some of the venues that i've raved when i attended ADE.
FACILITIES & AMENITIES
ADE provides all the facilities and amenities you will need throughout your ADE week. Almost every venue/conference/event provides Food Courts and Bar Stands. As for the Lockers and Lost & Found Area, only a few of them provide these amenities. However, ADE provides a wide range of Merchandise Stands at various venues/conferences within the city for the whole week of ADE.
ADE does not offer a campsite or an official accommodation package, however you can book separately your accommodation in the City Center where all the venues/conferences/events take place on your own.
ADE was my very first multi-day rave venue/festival abroad. Literally it was colossal. More than 450 events and conferences, more than 25,000 artists and performers, more than 400,000 visitors. And all of these in one city, Amsterdam. It was the reason why i loved Amsterdam. I strongly recommend it to every festival-goer, in order to get a deep understanding of the electronic music industry. And i will rave it again for sure, soon!
